Castellón registered more than 1.7 million tourists and 7.5 million overnight stays in 2016, a record high accounting for 8 % more than the previous year. Many of these visitors came to the province attracted by its natural charms and the sporting possibilities it offers. In this context, the CASTELLÓN Tourism Provincial Board will bring to FITUR its commitment to creating a tourism product comprised of hiking, cycling tourism and mountain cycling as well as to creating routes and to marketing support.

Visitors to the CASTELLÓN stand will learn how the Tourism Provincial Board has created more than 100 routes for both hiking and mountain biking as well as road cycling tourism routes covering the provincial territory, linking up the major destinations and tourist resources and adapting to different fitness levels.

In the technical aspect, and as will also be seen at the Trade Fair, the Trust has renewed the image of its website, improving its features.
