• FITUR 2018 recognises the best tourism blogs, raising awareness of sustainable tourism
  • Entries can be submitted until 20 December on the http://travelblogger.es/ site.

Seeking to recognise the work of tourism blogs that raise awareness of sustainable tourism, FITUR 2018 has yet another year called the international travel blogger competition.

The contest is open to any tourism or travel blog from any country in the world that publishes regular posts. Blogs can be entered in one of the categories or in both:
Best Content
-Most Popular Blog

To enter, interested parties should complete a registration form including a video lasting maximum 30 seconds, in which they answer the question: How do you promote sustainable tourism in your blog? All first-phase finalists will receive an accreditation certificate and an honorary emblem that they can use to promote their space.

If entering the blog in the Most Popular Blog category, participants can promote their candidature from the moment it is approved. Users will choose the winner by popular vote by casting their votes on Facebook and Twitter by 20 December 2017.

A top-level jury from the tourism industry will choose the winner of the ‘BEST CONTENT’ blog from among the finalists participating in this category, taking into account content quality, integration in different communication formats, innovative use of the medium and posting frequency on their blog.

The winners in both categories will be announced on 10 January 2018.

As for the prizes, one will be awarded by category. They will consist of an all-expenses-paid invitation (flight from the capital of the country of origin and accommodation) to FITUR 2017. In addition, the sponsor DESTINATION SWAKOPMUND will offer a trip to the two winners to SWAKOPMUND, Namibia, valued at more than 2,000€.

The contest rules and details will be available on the travelblogger.es site.

The last winners were Territorios (Best Content) and O Meu Escritório é lá Fora! (Most Popular Blog).
